The commission applies only to payments processed through Tama. The rate depends on the currency of the payment, not the customer's country. A customer paying in your currency is on the standard rate even if they are abroad; a payment in another currency costs more. For example, on a 10,000 F CFA sale paid in F CFA, the platform retains 500 F CFA (Free plan at 5%) or 200 F CFA (Pro plan at 2%) or 0 F CFA (Business plan at 0%). You receive the rest directly.

Yes. On online payments processed through Tama (mobile money, card), a processing fee applies on top of the commission. It depends on your country, between 4% and 6%, and is added to the customer's total by default: it therefore costs you nothing. From your payment settings you can choose to absorb it, in which case it is deducted from your revenue instead of being added to the customer's total. Payments collected off-platform (mobile money proof, cash on delivery) carry no Tama processing fee.

The Pro subscription is billed at the start of each chosen period. Monthly costs 20,000 F CFA each month. Quarterly costs 40,000 F CFA every 3 months (saving 33%). Yearly costs 120,000 F CFA per year (saving 50%). The Free plan has no fixed fees. The Business plan costs double the Pro plan, i.e. 40,000 F CFA monthly, 80,000 F CFA quarterly, and 240,000 F CFA yearly.

Yes, you can switch from Free to Pro at any time. The change takes effect immediately.

No, no commitment. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time and return to the Free plan.

Yes, in Benin, with a Pro or Business subscription. You activate the service from your settings with your IFU, then every invoice you issue is filed with the DGI and receives its MECeF code. Credit notes are supported. The service currently covers Benin only.

Credits pay for what is billed by usage rather than by subscription, at 5 F CFA per credit: your WhatsApp messages, and AI image generation for your store. Every month you get free credits based on your plan: 50 on Free, 250 on Pro, 500 on Business. From 1 October 2026, each reply from Tama costs 2 credits (10 F CFA); until then a whole conversation costs 9 credits (45 F CFA), however many messages are exchanged that day. A reply to a number outside the F CFA zone costs more, as it does for your other messages. An order update costs 1 credit (5 F CFA), a reminder or follow-up 9 credits (45 F CFA). The same credits cover Tama's replies, notifications and generated images: used for the assistant alone, the Pro plan's cover about 125 replies a month. Once the free credits run out you top up with any amount you like, and auto-recharge stops Tama going quiet mid-day.

Yes, in every country and on every plan. From an order you issue a quote or an invoice in one step, with continuous numbering and credit notes to correct. A receipt is issued on its own for every recorded payment, and a delivery note prints for the courier. Each document has its own link and PDF, to send by email or on WhatsApp. These are simple commercial documents; in Benin, the standardized invoice filed with the DGI is added with the Pro plan.
